G-Man is the French President

December 18, 2007

G-man

I woke up on a really chilly morning to uncover the biggest conspiracy theory of all times, as I was flipping through the morning paper after checking out a bunchload of cutscenes from Half life 2 Episode 2, I came across a rather juicy piece of gossip, the current French president had been photographed with supermodel turned singer Carla Bruni at Disneyland Paris.

I had no clue what the French president looked like prior to this piece of news, and I was in a state of shock when I saw his picture, guess what he looks like our very own G-Man from Half Life 2. After the initial shock, I decided to Google his image up and volia I found more resemblance not only in the facial outlook but also the hand gestures.

Has the conspiracy theory about Half Life and Black Mesa finally been solved?

Kudos to the guys at Valve, who have actually made this semblence so close to reality.

A list of Retro games that you need to dig into.

December 10, 2007

This list that I’ve manage to compile constitutes loads of games that should have seen sequels, but never saw a developer pick it up.  I don’t know how many shall actually remember these games because they are quite a step away from the conventional retro lists that everyone keeps looking into . Reader’s Note- The list is not in any particular order of preference-

1. Heavy Metal F.A.K.K 2(Ritual)-Julie Strain…Phew, Lara seems flatout in comparision.

2. Abuse (Crack Dot com)-A true homage to ALIENS, I think no one would ever heard of this game, download it and give it a shot.

3. Marvel VS Capcom Series (Capcom) -Either a complete sequel or a release on XBLA/PSN/VC.

 4. MDK (Bioware/Shiny)–“Shwang Shing” and “Puppy Wuppy Dingy Doggy”.

5. Fear Effect (Eidos)- A tale of Crime set in Hong Kong (Remake already rumored underway).

6. Blood (Monolith)-I loved the first game, the second was fun as well, the “Eating Hearts bit” saw a major return in Starbreeze studios “The Darkness”.

7. Blades of Steel (Platform-NES)- The big’ol granddaddy of the skating rink.

8. Deathrow (Southend studios/Ubisoft)-Everyone overlooked this game, the applause meter saw sneaky fisher win the contest.

9. Nightmare Creatures-Adam Crowely (Ubisoft)- The third game was slated to appear on the previous generation but disappeared, this game would definitely Manhunt a run for its money.

10. Sanitarium(Interplay)-Lord save me!

 11. Oni(Bungie)-Oh Konoko, the wicked wicked Master Chief is never going to let live ever again.
